The Wolf Den on display

A really special part of The Wolf Den's publication this week has been seeing photos uploaded to social media by booksellers, or snapped by friends, showing my book in REAL shops.

As a way of saying thank you I wanted to collect some of the photos posted with links to buy my book (or any other) from those particular retailers. Just click on a bookshop's name to buy from them.

This wonderful shop kindly had me in to sign copies on publication day! Their display looks incredible. Thank you to Kim, Chris, Josh and Danny for everything.

Waterstones supported my book early on, by producing a signed, limited edition, with extra content on Pompeii's real lupanar and the women who worked there. Many of the retailer's stores and booksellers have been supportive (thank you Dan!) but the photos that really finished me off were from Waterstones Liverpool. The effort Cody and her team put in, and their belief in my book, was overwhelming to see.

There have been wonderful posts and messages from other Waterstones, but this photo from Byres Road in Glasgow was another pinch me moment. So was seeing the window and table display at Norwich (below). This outlet used to be my local, and is round the corner from where I used to live.

This gorgeous shop in Haworth put The Wolf Den in a specially designed Feminist window. Exactly where I imagine Amara would want to be! Thank you so much.

This lovely indie in Norfolk not only had a full window but made their own audio visual display which you can check out on their insta! It's amazing. Thank you Pam.

Kemps Books in Malton did a lovely display - and let me share the window with Richard Osman!

Bookends Bookshop in Carlisle really pushed the boat out - Steve even composed a sonnet in honour of my main character Amara! You can read it below. On their insta Bookends described The Wolf Den as "A magnificent and mesmerising read this summer."

These pictures are from three really friendly, fabulous (and award winning) bookshops: Chicken and Frog bookshop in Brentwood, Dogberry and Finch in Okehampton and Red Lion Books in Colchester.

My lovely agent Juliet and my friend Samira took these photos of my book on display in Foyles in Chelmsford and at Waterloo Station.

Lastly - but very much not least - Blackwell's Books have been incredibly supportive, hosting a joint event with Jennifer Saint, bestselling author of Ariadne and me, as well as giving The Wolf Den a wonderful 'virtual' front window in their newsletter. They are also the best place to go if you are buying from outside the UK, as they have free international shipping.

The beautiful displays were made by my publisher Head of Zeus. I really hope I haven't missed anyone out who sent me photos!

Thank you to all the booksellers who have taken photos, contacted me or shouted about my book: you have made my publication week unbelievably memorable and special, and I appreciate it so much.
